The Sr Performance Engineer will be part of the Messaging team developing the messaging platform that drives
billions of A2P messages and enable brands around the world to engage with their subscribers.
How you will help:
Performance and Resiliency Testing new features and components on our Multi-Channel Messaging
platforms. This includes creating internal and external performance test plans and results.
Liaising with our CSO Organization and Infrastructure teams to provide environment sizing and
recommended configurations.
Participation in requirements and specification processes including task estimation, risk assessment,
performance profiling.
Liaising with our Development and Quality Assurance teams to understand the features.
Who we have in mind:
Performance test scripting, execution, and report generation using tools such as JMeter, LoadUI, or
Gatling.
Knowledge of Java, Apache Tomcat, J2EE, Java 8
Full low-level familiarity with protocols like SIP, MSRP, RTP.
Experience with Performance test plan design and exit report creation for complex microservice
implementations. This includes Client Frontend and Backend components.
Server and Client(Web/Mobile) Automation using tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Protractor, Appium
Experience creating continuous plans with Bamboo or Jenkins.
Excellent organizational, trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of REST principles used to develop REST APIs
Familiar with version control tools such as git/svn/stash , Bamboo plans and experience with issue
tracking tools such as JIRA.
Exposure to related messaging standards such as OMA CPM as well as lower-level dependencies such as
ENUM, DNS etc.
Architectural knowledge of IMS Core Network.
Experience integrating/working with various components of a distributed next generation IP based
architecture including soft switches, Gateways, SIP Proxies, Route Engines.
Experience in VoIP/IMS/SIP/MSRP.
Exposure to RADIUS / DIAMETER / Analytics platform
Experience in TLS, TCP, IPSEC, IP protocols.
