Role and Responsibilities:

‘The Azure Network Developer will be responsible for design, develop, and implement Azure network solutions to meet business requirements.                                                                                                                                                                                             Candidate should be responsible to configure and optimize Azure network components such as virtual networks, subnets, VPN gateways, and ExpressRoute circuits. Ensures network performance and availability meets enterprise objectives for timely service restoration and tuning.             Implements network security best practices and compliance standards within Azure environments. Candidate will be responsible for independently working on individual work task related to Conceptualization, POC, MVP as well as guide the team members in accomplishing their task. Candidate should be able to understand the Project Goals and as a technical specialist should champion the tools, methods and processes required for Platform deployment. Ensure that products/services owned by the team are successfully developed & deployed during the Deployment window. Act as a 2nd & 3rd level of support for incidents & problems reported by Customer teams. Ability to understand the Group IT Cloud Azure Architecture and different industry standard market products used in the Environment.                      Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Ansible. Candidate should have excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Familiar with working on Agile framework and other methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe etc. Should be proactive enough to highlight any challenges or impediments to address it on priority basis during regular Standup meetings. Also responsible for training new team members and providing knowledge transfer to team members.

Technical Competency

6 – 9 years of in-depth understanding and hands-on experience with various Azure networking services such as Virtual Network (VNet), Azure Firewall, Azure VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Azure Load Balancer, Azure Application Gateway, Azure DNS, Azure Traffic Manager, etc. Strong knowledge of network architecture principles and best practices, including designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available network solutions in Azure.                                                                                                                                                                                         Proficiency in implementing network security controls and best practices within Azure environments, including Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Firewall, Azure DDoS Protection, Azure Security Center, VPN encryption, SSL/TLS, etc Experience with infrastructure automation and deployment using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, PowerShell, or Azure CLI to provision and manage Azure networking resources                                                                                                                                              Ability to troubleshoot network issues, analyze performance metrics, and optimize Azure network infrastructure for improved reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency.                                                                                                                                                                                                   Proficient with CI/CD, configuration & release management tools like Bamboo, Argo CD, Vault, ELK, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Github, SVN etc          Familiarity with Azure monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, Network Watcher, and configuring alerts and diagnostics for proactive network monitoring and troubleshooting. In depth working experience on serverless Azure services (e.g. Azure Function, Logic Apps, Event Grid etc.) Past experience of working on Azure Management Group, Cloud Adoption Framework, Landing Zone framework etc. Strong RESTful API experience (both in Integration and development)                                                                                                                               Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI to automate network deployment, configuration, monitoring, and management tasks. Provide an efficient interface with various teams and provide appropriate technical support to all teams working on various platforms. Self motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment. BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience plus real passion to learn new technologies.                                                       Resource with Azure Certification in Azure Network Engineer Associate(AZ-700) will be preferred.
