Location is Mumbai

Global Sales Head – Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the Sales activities in alignment with the Organizational objectives and Annual Business Plan and build towards the Strategic Business Plan
  • Achieve month-on-month plan for Order Booking by Regions and Technology Units as per the Annual Business Plan
  • Responsible for meeting Gross Margin for Regions and individual Technology Units (TUs)
  • Responsible for managing Principal and Key Customer relationship for the specified market. Align with the product vendors to understand their roadmap and manage & collaborate in the solution building activity.
  • Focus on Large deal pursuit in line with Organization objectives and build strategies around the overall business plan.
  • Ensuring team building, managing productivity and retention of the individual team members
  • Identify areas of market potential and growth and define regional strategy in line with the Corporate guidelines.
  • Act as client thought partner with respect to organizational competence/pursuit focus with Client executives.
  • Guide Sales team members
  • Conduct research on industry/ regional trends as it applies to solutions, engagement models, service delivery models, commercial models and share with Marketing team. Help establish Godrej Infotech’s Equity and Brand positioning in the Market
  • Working in conjunction with Regions and Delivery teams
  • Review account interlock performance on a monthly basis and present integrated reporting on YTD Actual, contracted to end of year and pipeline data to External Business Head

Qualification

  • M.B.A. (Sales & Marketing). Engineering Graduate with MBA is preferred

Experience

  • Overall experience of at least 15+ years including a minimum 10 years in the IT Services industry
  • Should have worked at least 5 years at senior position and at least 3 years in leadership role
  • Should have insights into Global Markets including APAC and India
  • Must have managed a team of sales professionals
  • Demonstrated ability to build Principal Relationship and bring Growth for the business
